Audit Senior Associate – Not-for-Profit

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to lead not-for-profit audit engagements for a leading national audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm. The role combines on-site audit leadership with client relationship management, offering a hybrid working model and strong professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the audit process for NFP clients, managing on-site audit teams under manager supervision.
• Plan, execute and complete audits in line with internal and external requirements, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Prepare draft audit reports for senior client management and Audit Committees/Boards.
• Maintain and develop client relationships throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Participate in proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice, preferably with a focus on not-for-profit audit clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
