Audit Senior – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our Bristol team, supporting professional services clients with high‑quality audit engagements. You will lead audit assignments, ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments for a range of professional services clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with current regulations.
• Supervise and support junior team members throughout audit engagements.
• Liaise with clients to address queries and present clear audit findings.
• Identify potential risks or areas for improvement and communicate them effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless client service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
• Relevant audit experience within the professional services industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues.

What we offer

• Salary between £42,000 and £48,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 25 days of holiday leave.
