Audit Senior – Hybrid, £40k-£50k

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a well‑established chartered accountancy practice in Woking. The position offers a hybrid working model, exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to lead audit engagements from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning to final delivery.
• Prepare financial statements, including consolidated accounts.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Review work of junior team members and provide guidance.
• Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification.
• Experience within a UK accountancy firm.
• Comfortable managing audit assignments and interacting directly with clients.
• Strong technical understanding of audit and financial reporting.
• Organised, detail‑focused and able to manage multiple deadlines.
