Audit Senior – Hybrid Working, West Sussex

About the role

Pro-Finance is partnering with a respected accountancy and advisory firm to recruit an Audit Senior for its West Sussex office. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary and the chance to manage a diverse audit portfolio while developing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments, liaising with clients, managers and partners.
• Lead fieldwork, coordinate team activities and review junior staff work.
• Prepare audit completion reports and documentation.
• Identify key audit risks, resolve issues and ensure high technical standards.
• Maintain client relationships and act as primary contact throughout engagements.
• Support managers and partners on larger assignments and monitor budgets, workflow and deadlines.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience leading audit assignments and managing workflow.
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
