Audit Senior

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Audit Senior to join a dynamic audit team in High Wycombe. You will lead full‑cycle audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory standards and delivering high‑quality work for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review audit assignments, managing the entire audit lifecycle.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, allocating tasks and reviewing their work.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and provide insights on internal controls.
• Prepare statutory accounts and conduct year‑end stock counts.
• Assist with complex and high‑risk audit areas and finalise audit files for partner review.

Required profile

• Qualified auditor with solid UK experience and the right to work in the UK.
• Extensive experience managing full‑cycle audits and leading audit engagements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with auditing software such as CCH, Audit Automate and Data Snipper (advantageous).
• Ability to analyse financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance.
