Audit Senior

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join a well‑established Chartered Accountancy practice in Cheltenham. You will take a hands‑on role in planning, executing and finalising audit assignments while supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments from start to finish.
• Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors and sizes.
• Supervise and support junior audit staff on engagements.
• Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Report findings and recommendations to Managers and Partners.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or at finalist level.
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
• Strong technical audit knowledge and understanding of current auditing standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build client relationships.
