Audit Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established accountancy practice in Sutton to hire an Audit Senior. The role offers the chance to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of commercial and charity clients while developing your professional expertise within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (QBE or finalist status also considered).
• Recent experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Proven ability to lead audit assignments and manage client relationships.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
