AutoCAD Drainage Survey Processor (Environmental & Drainage)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated AutoCAD Drainage Survey Processor to join Metro Rod’s support centre. This full‑time permanent position will see you turn early‑stage concepts into accurate drainage layouts and support projects from pre‑launch through to client‑ready delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create proposed drainage layouts in AutoCAD and prepare OS tile plans for design.
• Digitise and enrich existing drainage drawings with GPS data and other technical information.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Projects team to set up new contracts and ensure design readiness.
• Receive engineer‑produced site drawings, convert them into polished AutoCAD plans and produce client‑ready documentation.
• Maintain clear, detailed records of design changes and project progress.

Required profile

• Newly qualified or early‑career CAD professional with a genuine interest in drainage design.
• Proven experience using AutoCAD for technical drawing or digitising work.
• Ability to work with GPS data and translate raw information into accurate visual plans.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and enthusiasm for seeing designs implemented on real sites.
