Automation QA Engineer (London)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation that is expanding its technology footprint. As the first UK‑based Automation QA Engineer, you will join a growing European technology team and work closely with developers, product owners and a US QA team. The role offers a blend of manual and automated testing within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Build and maintain Selenium automation frameworks using C#.
• Create automated regression suites from scratch.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Produce test plans, test documentation and support software releases.
• Identify automation opportunities and help shape the team’s automation strategy.
• Validate production releases when required.

Required profile

• Strong automation testing experience with Selenium.
• Proficiency in C# (or Java with willingness to work in C#).
• Solid manual testing experience alongside automation.
• Experience creating test cases, test plans and regression suites.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Financial services or banking background is a plus.
