Automotive Learning Coach (Hybrid, Winsford)

About the role

The Automotive Learning Coach will guide apprentices through Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician and Bus & Coach Engineering Technician qualifications. Working in a hybrid model, you will combine classroom and online sessions to inspire and support learners as they build careers in the automotive and engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality coaching and training sessions both face‑to‑face and online.
• Support up to 40 learners, ensuring they meet milestones and qualification targets.
• Monitor progress, produce accurate reports and maintain learner documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback that builds confidence and drives development.
• Motivate learners working in manufacturing, maintenance, trailer, and broader engineering environments.

Required profile

• Strong experience in the automotive industry, preferably heavy vehicle, bus, coach or commercial vehicle sectors.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, manufacturing, trailer and engineering processes.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training others.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Passion for helping others succeed in their careers.
