Automotive Technical Trainer – BMW Group Academy

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join the BMW Group Academy in Wokefield Park. You will deliver high‑quality classroom and workshop training to technicians across the BMW retailer network, covering the latest vehicle technologies, diagnostics and electrification.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging automotive technical training programmes in classroom and workshop settings.
• Provide instruction on vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, electrical systems and emerging automotive technologies.
• Ensure training aligns with manufacturer standards, quality frameworks and industry best practice.
• Conduct hands‑on workshop sessions to develop practical skills.
• Perform technical competency assessments and manage IMI assessment documentation.
• Give constructive feedback and monitor learner performance to maximise knowledge retention.

Required profile

• Strong background in the automotive industry, preferably as a Senior Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Automotive Technical Trainer.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and developing others.
• Experience delivering technical training or coaching in an automotive environment.
