AV BIM Technician – BIM & Audiovisual Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an AV BIM Technician to join a forward‑thinking specialist systems integrator delivering large consultancy and architectural projects for corporate and high‑end hospitality clients. The role combines BIM expertise with audiovisual knowledge to support the development and coordination of detailed Revit models.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior technical manager and senior BIM technician in developing the company’s BIM strategy, including template and sheet border setup.
• Set up Revit models with correct origin and orientation according to the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Produce BIM models to the required Level of Detail (LOD) and Level of Information (LOI) as defined in the project BEP.
• Follow project naming conventions for files and objects.
• Generate clash reports using Navisworks, Revizto or similar tools and review them with the lead designer.
• Coordinate clash resolution to achieve a clash‑free model.
• Export drawing sheets for preliminary and construction releases, review them with the lead designer, and update based on comments.
• Share BIM models to the project Common Data Environment (CDE) in agreed formats and timeframes.
• Produce drawings and schedules to capture asset data, and input information for COBie or other asset data fields.
• Create as‑built models and drawings for handover and inclusion in the O&M manual.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience working with BIM in the audiovisual industry.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom and current residence in the UK.
• Clear, defined skill set in both BIM and AV technologies, as reflected in your CV.
