About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic AV Support Technician to provide first‑line audio‑visual assistance for teaching spaces and departmental meeting rooms at a higher‑education campus in London. The position is temporary (3 months) and offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, user‑facing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st line AV support for teaching spaces and departmental meeting rooms.
• Respond promptly to AV incidents and service requests.
• Offer phone and email support to staff, ensuring clear communication.
• Log and resolve incidents using ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with senior technical teams for escalations when necessary.
• Maintain operational cover across the campus to ensure smooth functioning.

Required profile

• Hands‑on AV support experience in a busy, user‑facing environment (higher education preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AV hardware and software issues.
• Excellent customer service and written communication abilities.
• Systematic approach to problem‑solving and effective teamwork.
• Accurate record‑keeping and incident logging.
• Reliable punctuality to cover scheduled teaching.
• Recent references highlighting AV support and customer‑facing experience.
