AV Technician

About the role

We are looking for an AV Technician to join a busy, expanding US law firm’s London office. Reporting to the Director of Technology Services, you will ensure conference rooms and webcasting events run smoothly, supporting both on‑site and hybrid meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and troubleshoot Teams‑enabled meeting room devices, microphones and cameras.
• Provide Microsoft Teams support, focusing on meetings and live events.
• Assist internal teams and clients with live, hybrid and virtual event setups.
• Maintain and operate external conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Webex and Skype.
• Perform regular checks on AV equipment, log and manage issues via the IT service management platform.
• Gather requirements, deliver professional solutions and collect feedback to improve service.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AV disciplines (audio, projection, video, IT, lighting).
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and methodical approach.
• Experience working with senior management, directors and high‑profile events.

What we offer
