AWS Data Platform Architect – London (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing technology consultancy as an AWS Data Platform Architect within the Data & AI team. You will lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale cloud data platforms for large‑scale clients, working with modern AWS services and emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, cloud‑native data platforms on AWS.
• Develop data lake, warehousing and analytics solutions using tools such as Databricks, Redshift and Snowflake.
• Define technical standards, cloud strategy and governance frameworks.
• Support the adoption of AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI across projects.
• Deliver solutions for both real‑time and batch data processing environments.
• Ensure data security, compliance and governance requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor project teams.
• Engage senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Platform, Data or Cloud Architect.
• Strong background designing cloud‑native data solutions on AWS.
• Experience delivering large‑scale cloud transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Active SC Clearance (required).
