AWS DevOps / CI/CD Pipeline Engineer (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines for our London‑based teams. You will work closely with development, infrastructure and security groups to ensure reliable, secure and fast software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and YAML configurations.
• Create and manage Docker container images in Amazon ECR and orchestrate deployments on Amazon ECS.
• Configure and administer core AWS services – IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Design secure cloud environments with least‑privilege IAM roles, policies and security groups.
• Integrate enterprise authentication (Active Directory) with AWS.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents and production outages.
• Collaborate with developers to improve build automation and adopt deployment strategies such as blue‑green, rolling and canary releases.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS DevOps or related cloud engineering roles.
• Strong background in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across multiple teams.
