Azure Data Engineer – Hybrid, London

About the role

Join a fast‑growing technology consultancy as an Azure Data Engineer. You will design and deliver modern Azure‑based data solutions for enterprise clients, working directly with customers and a skilled engineering team. The role also offers mentoring opportunities and a path toward technical architecture or leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Build data models and analytics solutions with Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and high‑performing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics and Data Lake Storage.
• Development experience in Python, Scala or SQL.
• Knowledge of data modelling and analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and client‑facing experience.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
