Azure Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Azure Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions that deliver clean, structured and accessible data to internal teams, stakeholders and external partners. The role is hybrid, with three days in the London office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a modern cloud‑based data platform supporting analytics, reporting and operational systems.
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Fabric, Databricks, Data Factory and Data Lake services.
• Manage SQL Server databases across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Ensure data security, reliability and accessibility throughout the ecosystem.
• Shape data architecture, identify opportunities for automation and performance improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands‑on work on Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Track record of designing and optimising data warehouses and large‑scale data platforms.
• Strong SQL and reporting expertise.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Data Science, development and business teams.
