Azure Integration Tech Lead

About the role

We are seeking an Azure Integration Tech Lead to join a prestigious global organisation’s technology team in London. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on engineering to design and deliver enterprise‑scale integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of Azure‑based integration solutions.
• Define and enforce standards and best practices for API‑led and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Balance hands‑on development with mentoring and oversight of the wider engineering team.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in build, test and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure integration services such as Functions, Service Bus, API Management and Logic Apps.
• Background in microservices, event‑driven or serverless architectures.
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, orchestration).
• Experience leading or mentoring a technical team in an agile environment.
• Development experience in .NET/C#.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
