B1.3 Licensed Helicopter Field Engineer – Northamptonshire

About the role

Our client, a leading rotary‑aviation operator supporting Air Ambulance and VIP helicopter services across the UK, is seeking an experienced B1.3 Licensed Field Engineer to join their line‑maintenance team in Northamptonshire. You will work on modern helicopter platforms, ensuring aircraft are ready for mission‑critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled line‑maintenance tasks on multiple operational bases.
• Support Air Ambulance and VIP helicopter missions.
• Manage maintenance schedules in close collaboration with Planning.
• Maintain aircraft to the highest technical and safety standards.
• Liaise with CAMO and operational teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide AOG recovery and field‑based maintenance when required.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation in line with UK CAA regulations.

Required profile

• Valid UK CAA B1.3 licence.
• Strong rotary‑wing maintenance experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent technical and organisational skills.
