B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Bournemouth

About the role

Signature TechnicAir is seeking a B1 and/or B2 licensed aircraft engineer to join its base maintenance facility at Bournemouth Airport. The role involves carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, acting as Check Lead, and certifying work performed by yourself and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance tasks to the highest standards in line with manufacturer instructions, company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs as the Check Lead.
• Certify aircraft maintenance tasks performed by yourself and non‑certifying engineers.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance documentation to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Liaise with customers, manufacturers, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Hold a CAA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
• Ideally have type ratings on Cessna Citation, Embraer Legacy or Phenom (not essential).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, with high attention to detail.
