Baby & Younger Boys Designer (Kidswear)

About the role

We are seeking a creative Baby & Younger Boys Designer to join our established childrenswear design team in London. The role involves hands‑on design of commercial, trend‑led ranges across knitwear, swimwear and separates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop CAD ranges using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Create graphics, prints and trend‑led concepts for baby and younger boyswear.
• Produce detailed technical packs for sample development.
• Present ranges confidently to internal teams.
• Liaise with overseas factories to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Conduct competitor and trend research, including potential travel.
• Support the wider design process with strong organisation and communication.

Required profile

• Recent experience in baby boys and boyswear design, preferably with a high‑street supplier.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Good understanding of garment construction.
• Ability to design graphics and prints (Procreate experience beneficial).
• Interest or experience with AI‑assisted design tools such as Adobe Firefly.
• Highly organised, proactive and trend‑focused.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commutable to London and eligible to work in the UK.
