Back-end Engineer – Contract (AI HealthTech)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services for AI‑driven health applications.
• Develop and support APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) that power distributed systems.
• Work with Docker and AWS to deploy and operate services in production.
• Collaborate on data infrastructure, distributed computing, and AI‑service integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience building scalable backend systems.
• Strong background in API development (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Docker and AWS from recent projects.
• Excellent coding skills in Python, Typescript, Node.js and SQL.

What we offer

• Rate: £400 per day (outside IR35)
• Contract length: 3 months, start ASAP
