Back End Engineer

About the role

Your mission is to shape and extend MillTech's existing platform into a cohesive set of high‑quality, scalable products while championing engineering excellence across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop back‑end web application services.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and integrate new technologies.
• Maintain and support the existing codebase.
• Use AI tools throughout the development workflow and share techniques.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High degree of personal honesty and integrity.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a back‑end engineer.
• Good spoken and written English.
• A brilliant mind and a people‑person.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern web application development (APIs, services, architecture, security).
• Experience with distributed messaging systems such as SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with event‑driven, micro‑service architecture.
• Comfortable using AI tools in the development workflow.
