Backshift Warehouse Operative – DXF

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Backshift Warehouse Operative to join DX Network Services in Warrington. The role involves loading and unloading freight safely during the afternoon shift, supporting the delivery operation and ensuring parcels are ready for their routes.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times.
• Follow DX manual handling and health‑and‑safety policies, using the correct personal protective equipment.
• Load and unload freight from vehicles, matching items to paperwork or scanner information.
• Use appropriate equipment and methods for handling all freight.
• Ensure deliveries are loaded safely before departure.
• Report any damages or security concerns immediately to the line manager.
• Maintain the security of freight and company assets.

Required profile

• Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail when checking paperwork and freight.
• Willingness to work the back‑shift/afternoon hours.
