Band 3-4 Aseptic Pharmacy Assistant – London

About the role

Day Webster is recruiting a Band 3‑4 Aseptic Pharmacy Assistant for an NHS hospital in London. The position is available immediately on a full‑time or part‑time basis for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extending the assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense aseptic medicines and sterile products in accordance with NHS guidelines.
• Maintain cleanroom standards, including regular decontamination and monitoring of aseptic environments.
• Document all activities accurately and ensure traceability of products.
• Support the pharmacy team with routine stock management and inventory checks.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and report any deviations promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant NVQ qualification in pharmacy or related field.
• Previous experience working in an aseptic pharmacy environment.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30, with flexibility for alternative patterns.
• Commitment to start as soon as possible and stay for at least three months.

Required skills

• NVQ qualification.
• Proven aseptic handling experience.
