About the role
Vivid Healthcare are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist (BMS) to work on a locum basis within the Histology department in Glasgow. The role is ongoing, starts as soon as possible, and offers a competitive hourly rate. Candidates must be HCPC registered and able to meet a microtomy throughput of at least 20 blocks per hour.
Required profile
- Fully qualified Biomedical Scientist (BMS) with at least 12 months recent experience in a UK hospital.
- Proven experience in Microbiology and Histology.
- HCPC registration is essential.
Required skills
- Microtomy (minimum 20 blocks per hour).
- Histology techniques.
