Band 7 Qualified Obstetric & Gynaecology Sonographer

About the role

We are looking for a Band 7 qualified Obstetric and Gynaecology Sonographer to join our private 4D ultrasound clinic in South‑West London. The role is permanent, full‑time (30‑34 hours per week) and starts in August/September, offering a patient‑focused environment where you will deliver high‑quality prenatal imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of prenatal scans, from early dating to gender and 4D late‑pregnancy examinations.
• Produce high‑resolution ultrasound images and video clips for clinical and client use.
• Maintain accurate records and generate detailed referral reports.
• Provide phlebotomy for non‑invasive prenatal testing (training provided if required).
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure a premium client experience.
• Uphold strict cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic.

Required profile

• Qualified sonographer with registration on HCPC, NMC, GMC, SoR or BMUS.
• Minimum three years’ experience in obstetric/gynaecology ultrasound.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a strong patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Ultrasound imaging, including 4D capabilities.
• Phlebotomy for NIPT screening.
• Accurate clinical documentation and referral writing.
