Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist – Hillingdon

About the role

We are recruiting a committed and forward‑thinking Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join a supportive, collaborative therapy team within a specialist educational setting in Hillingdon. You will deliver evidence‑based interventions that promote communication, independence and functional life skills for children and young people with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement therapy for speech, language, social communication, feeding and AAC needs.
• Integrate therapy targets into daily classroom activities in partnership with teachers.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to case reviews and supervision sessions.

Required profile

• HCPC registration and experience at Band 7 level.
• Strong skills in assessment, clinical reasoning and intervention planning.
• Experience with AAC systems and a range of speech, language and social communication needs.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
• Compassionate, flexible and child‑centred approach.
