Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join our specialist educational team in West London. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, delivering evidence‑based interventions that enhance communication, independence and functional skills for children and young people with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, social communication, feeding and AAC needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best‑practice evidence.
• Provide direct therapy across a range of communication domains.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to embed therapeutic strategies into everyday learning.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and share progress reports.

Required profile

• Current HCPC registration.
• Proven Band 7 level experience in speech and language therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan and deliver evidence‑based interventions.
• Strong knowledge of AAC, speech, language, social communication and feeding interventions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with confidence working independently.
