Bank Care Assistant – Flexible Hours in Oban

About the role

Join Etive House Care Home in the scenic village of Benderloch, near Oban, as a Bank Care Assistant. You will provide person‑centred support to up to 62 residents, helping them maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing each day.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, mobility assistance and nutrition support according to individual care plans.
• Monitor residents’ condition, report changes and ensure a safe environment.
• Promote emotional wellbeing through compassionate interaction and respectful communication.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to create a warm, positive atmosphere.

Required profile

• A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive and willing to learn.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
