About the role
This casual, part‑time position offers flexible working as a Bank Care Assistant in a Barchester care home. You will support residents in daily living, provide companionship, and help create a warm, caring environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with meals, drinks and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and emotional support to enhance residents’ wellbeing.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Cover shifts for annual leave, sick leave or other staffing gaps as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Empathy, warmth and a genuine desire to deliver high‑quality care.
