About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will support residents in Darlington to enjoy a high quality of life. Working on a flexible, as‑needed basis you will provide personal care, companionship and help with daily activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with meals, hydration and personal hygiene following individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
- Support daily living activities such as dressing, mobility and medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with health‑care standards.
- Record observations and communicate any changes to the senior care team.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older adults.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and strong communication abilities.
- Empathy, warmth and a genuine desire to deliver high‑standard care.
