Bank Care Assistant – Flexible Shifts in Care Home

About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will support residents with daily living tasks, provide companionship and ensure they receive high‑quality, person‑centred care. The role is flexible, covering shifts when needed, such as covering annual or sick leave.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with eating, drinking and personal care in line with individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and social interaction to promote wellbeing.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean environment.
- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in residents’ condition.
Required profile
- Experience caring for older people, preferably in a residential setting.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic and warm‑hearted approach to delivering care.
