About the role

Prime Life is seeking compassionate individuals to join the team at Woodville Residential Home in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. As a Bank Care Assistant you will provide flexible, high‑quality care to 46 residents living with a range of age‑related and mental health conditions, including dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and bedtime routines.
• Support mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobilisation using mobility aids and specialist equipment.
• Provide companionship, accompany residents on outings and appointments.
• Maintain accurate written records and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote residents’ health and well‑being.
• Welcome visitors and respond to family enquiries.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with patience and respect for individual abilities.
• Ability to work across a 7‑day shift pattern between 8 am‑8 pm or 8 pm‑8 am.
• Willingness to undergo a fully funded DBS check.
• Prior care experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
