Bank Care Assistant

About the role
This part‑time, flexible Bank Care Assistant position supports residents in a Barchester care home in Sherborne. You will help deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care while enjoying a varied and rewarding daily routine.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with meals, hydration and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide companionship and one‑to‑one time to promote wellbeing.
- Support daily living activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
- Cover staff absences such as annual leave or sick leave, adapting to changing schedules.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older adults.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.
- Empathetic and warm‑hearted approach to delivering care.
