Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in designing nutritious, seasonal menus tailored to residents' preferences.
• Prepare fresh, high‑quality dishes that meet HACCP standards.
• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring smooth operations.
• Control stock, conduct regular audits, and work within allocated budgets.
• Support and motivate the kitchen team to maintain a warm, efficient atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified chef with City & Guilds, NVQ, SVQ or equivalent.
• Experience leading and inspiring a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of nutrition and fresh seasonal produce.
• Personable, warm approach with genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
