Bank Chef (Part‑time, Flexible Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Bank Chef to join our Yeovil Marsh site on a casual, part‑time basis. You will work closely with the Head Chef to create nutritious, seasonal menus for our residents while enjoying a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing fresh, seasonal dishes that meet hotel‑standard quality.
• Deliver meals that are nutritious, flavourful and tailored to individual resident preferences.
• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, including stock control and budgeting.
• Conduct regular HACCP and quality audits to maintain high safety standards.
• Support a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Required profile

• City & Guilds, NVQ, SVQ or equivalent culinary qualification.
• Experience leading or inspiring a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of nutrition and fresh seasonal produce.
• Personable, warm approach with genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
