Bank Clinical Research Nurse

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bank Clinical Research Nurse to deliver high‑quality research across the North West using our EMS mobile research units. The role involves hands‑on participant visits, supporting recruitment, and ensuring clinical care and data integrity in a fast‑moving, mobile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct study‑specific clinical procedures and participant visits in line with protocols, GCP and EMS SOPs.
• Perform nursing assessments including vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy and other required procedures.
• Support recruitment, screening, enrolment and retention of participants in collaboration with site teams.
• Complete case report forms, source documentation and trial logs accurately and on time.
• Maintain safe and efficient mobile unit operations, handling clinical samples and study materials.
• Provide clear information to participants, obtain informed consent and offer ongoing support.
• Escalate clinical or operational issues to senior staff as needed.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration.
• Previous experience in clinical research or trial delivery.
• Knowledge of ICH‑GCP and the clinical research process.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Full UK residency, a valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Required skills

• ECG performance and interpretation.
• Phlebotomy and vital‑sign assessment.
• Use of electronic data capture systems and clinical trial databases.
• Competence in standard nursing procedures within research settings.
