Bank Housekeeping Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time Role

About the role
This casual, part‑time position provides flexible cover for housekeeping duties in a Barchester care home. You will help create a warm, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff by keeping the home clean and tidy.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and tidy resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Maintain infection‑control and health‑and‑safety procedures throughout the home.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and adapt to urgent cover needs.
- Support a welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.
Required profile
- A caring, personable nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliability and flexibility to work varied hours and days as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Willingness to undertake training and follow care‑home policies.
