Bank Nurse - Registered Nurse

About the role

The Triangle Care Home, run by Gold Care Homes, is a residential, nursing and dementia care home in the village of Wheatley, Oxfordshire, offering long-term, short-term and respite care. It is looking for a bank nurse with a valid NMC registration number to help deliver high-quality care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver outcomes for the people supported.
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication, reporting accurately on residents and informing the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
• Manage wounds and ensure care procedures follow policy.
• Order, administer and record medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting, and give physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
• Carry out staff supervision and appraisals for the team or unit allocated.
• Implement agreed changes to routine and procedures, assess new clients and complete the duty rota as needed.
• Carry out internal quality audits, take part in staff training and development, and assist the manager with budget work (mainly deputy manager duties).

Required profile

• Registered nurse with a valid NMC pin number.
