Bank Registered Nurse – Complex Care (RMN)

About the role

This casual, part‑time bank position offers flexible working in a Barchester care home. You will join a multi‑disciplinary team to provide high‑quality nursing care for residents with complex and challenging behaviours, always respecting dignity and promoting wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred nursing care and supervise its delivery.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Support residents with dementia and complex mental‑health needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Provide cover for annual leave, sick leave and other staffing gaps.
• Collaborate with the wider care team to improve residents' quality of life.

Required profile

• Current registration with the NMC.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical practices, especially dementia care.
• Experience producing well‑developed care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Dedicated, compassionate and person‑centred approach to nursing.
