Bank Registered Nurse - Multiple Care Homes

About the role

Gold Care Homes is seeking an experienced Bank Registered Nurse to cover its care homes across the Oxford area. The nurse provides high-quality clinical care, oversees residents' health and wellbeing, administers medication safely and supports person-centred care. The role involves travelling between homes, so a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver outcomes for residents
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication, reporting accurately on residents and informing the senior care team of day-to-day changes
• Wound management and assessment of residents
• Order, administer and record medicines according to policy and statutory requirements
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting, and physical, emotional and spiritual comfort
• Carry out staff supervision and appraisals, internal quality audits and duty rosters as agreed with the manager
• Implement agreed changes to routine and procedures, and participate in staff training and development
• Assist the manager with budget work, mainly deputy manager responsibilities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Confident working flexibly across multiple care settings
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
