Bank Registered Nurse – Springhill Care Home

About the role

Prime Life is seeking a passionate Bank Registered Nurse to join the team at Springhill Care Home in Accrington. The role provides flexible, full‑time or shift‑based nursing care for 116 residents with diverse physical, age‑related and mental health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately complete nursing notes and maintain up‑to‑date care plans.
• Safely order, store, and administer medication in line with governance procedures.
• Visit each resident daily to assess needs and deliver dignified, person‑centred care.
• Lead nursing handovers and collaborate with care staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate in daily meetings, communicate effectively, and undertake any reasonable duties assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Current, valid NMC registration (pin) is essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents’ abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct at all times.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing skills, including medication management.
• Accurate record‑keeping and care plan documentation.
• Effective communication and handover leadership.
