Bank Speech & Language Therapist – NE Surrey

About the role

We are looking for a Bank Speech & Language Therapist to join our preschool team in North‑East Surrey. Working on a flexible, bank‑based contract, you will provide assessment, diagnosis and evidence‑based interventions for children with speech, language and communication needs.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out high‑quality assessments and deliver tailored interventions for children in early years settings such as nurseries, Family Hubs and family homes.
• Diagnose speech, language and communication needs and develop appropriate therapy plans.
• Provide training, support and collaborative guidance to parents, carers and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified Speech & Language Therapist (Band 5) with experience working with preschool children.
• Ability to assess, diagnose and deliver evidence‑based therapy in early years environments.
• Strong communication skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams.
