Bank Support Worker – Flexible Part‑Time Mental Health Role

About the role

We are seeking a confident Bank Support Worker to deliver outstanding care on a flexible, part‑time basis at Cygnet Victoria House, supporting men in an acute mental health inpatient service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enhanced, person‑centred care with a flexible learning approach.
• Offer physical and emotional guidance and encouragement to service users.
• Assess individual needs and deliver appropriate support.
• Assist with medical and welfare requirements.
• Record and report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support service users in developing daily living skills and preparing for discharge.
