Bank Support Worker – Mental Health Support (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our Bromley Borough Floating Support team. The role provides outreach support to individuals with complex mental health needs, helping them maintain independence and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outreach support in clients’ homes and community settings.
• Encourage participation in community activities and promote independence.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, budgeting and planning.
• Communicate using each person’s preferred methods and record accurate information.
• Deliver positive behavioural support and report any changes in health or circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with the team while also using initiative.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting individuals with mental health, learning disabilities or autism.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Effective communication using person‑centred methods.
• Ability to record and report client information accurately.
