About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Banking Tax offering for a major firm in London. The role combines entrepreneurial flair, deep technical tax expertise, and inspirational management of a growing team of tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of banking corporate tax services.
• Drive business development and win new work through networking and client relationships.
• Manage, mentor and expand a talented tax team, ensuring high‑quality client solutions.
• Personally solve complex tax problems while guiding the team on best practices.

Required profile

• Current Director or Partner in a Corporate Banking Tax role.
• Experience in Big 4, mid‑tier firms, or recent in‑house Head of Tax positions within banking.
• Proven track record of winning work and developing client relationships.
• Strong leadership and entrepreneurial mindset.
