Banking Governance Analyst – Open Banking & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Banking Governance Analyst to join a fast‑growing team responsible for regulatory reporting and governance across multiple Open Banking frameworks worldwide. You will work at the intersection of payments, compliance, data analysis and technology, ensuring that regulatory obligations are met while supporting the reliability of Open Banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and submit regulatory reports for Open Banking frameworks in the UK, EU, Australia and emerging markets.
• Monitor API performance metrics such as availability, uptime, latency, outages and error rates.
• Investigate operational issues, reporting discrepancies and performance anomalies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and support remediation.
• Maintain reporting documentation, governance processes and regulatory methodologies.
• Manage incident reporting obligations and ensure timely regulatory notifications.
• Track reporting schedules and regulatory deadlines across jurisdictions.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and compliance‑related enquiries.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance analytics, financial services operations, banking, payments or fintech.
• Strong understanding of UK/EU payment regulations, Open Banking requirements and reporting obligations.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and analysing large transactional data sets.
• Proven ability to validate data and produce accurate regulatory outputs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.

What we offer

• Contract until 31 December 2026 (umbrella arrangement, DOE).
• Hybrid working – three days per week in London.
• Daily rate of £400‑£470.
• Immediate start.
