Banking Solicitor – Senior Associate (5+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our growing Banking & Finance team in London. The successful solicitor will work on complex lender and borrower transactions, including leveraged, real‑estate, project and asset‑based finance, and will have clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financing transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to lenders, corporates and sponsors.
• Draft and negotiate loan documentation and related agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless support.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
• Strong background in banking and finance law.
• Experience advising on corporate lending, leveraged finance and/or real‑estate finance.
• Excellent technical and drafting abilities.
• Commercially astute, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across multiple teams.
